Increasing CPU (Author: Hazri)
While CPU isn't the bottleneck on most ships it still can use some love. Especially the skills should be trained and if you need them, here are a few ways how to effectively increase your ships CPU. First table are skills again.
Name Effect Information
Electronics Electronics +5% CPU per level very highly recommended at 5
Energy Grid Upgrades Energy Grid Upgrades -5% CPU need (per level) for modules which needs the Energy Grid Upgrades skill
(Reactor Control Unit, Power Diagnostic System)
not particular needed, only train if needed
Electronics Upgrades Electronics Upgrades -5% CPU need (per level) for modules which needs the Electronics Upgrades skill (Signal Amplifier) only train if needed
Weapon Upgrades Weapon Upgrades -5% CPU need (per level) for weapons very highly recommended at 5

The next list contains a selection of Co-Processors. They are the only modules which increase ship CPU. Just Remember, if you would need more than 1-2 of these, you should really rethink your fitting. The modules need low-slots, so the tank isn't affected, but you will loose precious slots for damage modules.

Co-Processor II Co-Processor II 800k +10% recommended
Dread Guristas Co-Processor Dread Guristas Co-Processor 30-40M +14% bit expensive but better bonus

There are no rigs which directly increases CPU output. The only modules which can offer something in that way are for Energy and Hybrid weapons. The following rigs decrease CPU need for those weapons, but increase powergrid need at the same time. Additional you'll loose rig slots, so think twice about using them for your fitting. Nevertheless especially the T2 variants might make the difference between a working and not working fit. The drawback can be reduced by training Energy/Hybrid Weapon Rigging, which is needed at level 4 for T2 rigs as well.

The last way to increase CPU are implants. They may be good idea and especially the +5% variant might be very handy, if you have several ships with CPU problems. The hardwiring goes into slot 6, which is used by powergrid, cap recharge and cruise missile implants as well. If you don't want to use one of these, I really recommend to think about a CPU hardwiring. There are 2%, 4% and 6% implants as well, but they need Concord LP points and aren't available in high numbers yet. If you have some spare LP from incursions and want to exchange them for one of the implants, feel free to do so.
